Easy to install . Black pieces are 3d printed and not sure what materials are used as it’s not in the description. Same with the metal (steel or aluminum?). Black color option would’ve been nice too. Had to drill the mounting hole bigger to fit my bolts.

The corners are a USA made ASA material that is UV stable. This should have been in the description, we will make sure it is added.
We plan to offer black in the near future and are also adding m8 holes as an option for larger hardware.
Very nice compact design with good overall protection. Built well easy to install dish into mount.
Unfortunately I had to give this thing 5 stars… because 6 wasn’t an option! Keeps the dish super low profile and barely noticeable. Just fantastic.
Got the Striker polycarbonate magnetic case and cover for the Starlink Mini. This is a great product that will provide excellent protection and stability to my roof mounted Starlink. I had a simple magnetic attachment from my van builder that only connected to the slide in bracket of the mini by two bolts. The Starlink was. Wobbling and making such a racket that I thought my Starlink or my roof would fly away. Now with a fully incased and protected Starlink, I can relax and enjoy the drive and the internet! I had a couple co-workers that already had this set up so i got to see it first hand. But extremely fast shipping, it arrived before my starlink did. Also, very easy to set up, all you need is an allen key and you are golden. I drive truck and have ordered different set ups since not all vehicles have the magnetic ability. Highly recommend even if you aren't doing anything crazy the poly cover is extremely durable. Also, make sure you get the handle. We had one guys without it and he almost cut his hands because the magnets are so powerful.
Very secure and gives you a lot of mounting choices. I added some clevis pins to allow for quick detachment of the dish!
Great mount, but would like to see it in a black option and more importantly with some sort of quick release!!!

Striker Fabrication makes the best mounts on the market not some of the best - THE BEST.
I had originally placed an order for a competitor's product shortly before seeing the Striker Mount and immediately knew I'd made the wrong decision. So I canceled the order which was moments before being picked up by FedEx and placed an order for the Striker Mount. So glad I did because this is perfect. The Striker Mount fits perfectly, I mean PERFECTLY to the Mini. As I placed the unit into the mount, there was a moment it wouldn't fit due to it being at an angle, that's how close the tolerance is. Straightened it up and gently nudged it in. No slop whatsoever. All metal support as the nuts are hidden within the 3D printed plastic, such a smart design decision!
The entire device is a great example of solid and well-though-out design. Simple is strong, nothing extraneous. Everything is protected and slim, making for the perfect way of protecting the Mini. Not much more to add. If you have a Mini, get this for it. Then put it in a backpack, or on your car roof, or dashboard and shoot through the windshield. Smart design.
You might ask about the Milwaukee battery in the photo. Found an adapter that allows the Mini to be powered by them. If you're like me and use Milwaukee tools and have a bunch of batteries, get one to go along with the Striker Mount for the ultimate in portability.
Worked as advertised so far. Have yet to hit any real rough terrain
While many/most people are going with Starlink Mini for their RVs/vans these days, I chose to go with the standard Gen 3, for a few reasons. 1) it fit PERFECTLY next to my MaxxFan. I figured with additional surface area, when I'm somewhere crowded with others using Starlink, I would get better coverage. I got some 80/20 to span my roof, put yet another penetration in it ( :( , but necessary), & voila! Great design & fit, & high quality. Extremely pleased & would highly recommend to someone with a similar setup! (I've got a '23 Sprinter 2500)
Magnets and frame works great. I like that you can also easily bolt it down as needed.
Very high quality product but costs 2/3 the price of the technology it protects. If it were a little less, I wouldn’t have hesitated so much over the “buy” button. Arrived quickly and packaged well. Works as expected.

I’ve been using the strike mount with handle and polycarbonate shield for about a month in some of the harshest conditions I can put it through. The magnets have been more than strong enough to keep the unit attached and I have been driving through some thick overgrown dirt roads as well as high speed interstates. I live in an extremely hot area as well. All in all the point is easy to throw up, easy to take down if I leave the vehicle unattended and has done a fantastic job at protecting the Starlink. I did add the bug guard on as well, very easy install. Signal strength seems to be unaffected by the shield for what it’s worth. I have. Installed this same set up on other emergency response vehicles as welll utilizing the steel plates with adhesive, worked flawlessly! I love how simple it is to switch between vehicles, throw it into a utv, or just use it running off AC. This is a fantastic mounting/protection system - I highly recommend it.
Fantastic quality. Easy to install although t-nuts and screws were not included. Everything to complete install should be included for the orice if the kit. Maybe mine was a one off? If so, 5 stars.

Thank you for the feedback. We designed these kits to be a universal fitment to all roof racks. While the universal nature makes them great for so many applications, it also makes it hard for us to include hardware for every roof rack configuration.
We will make sure to add a notation calling out that roof rack specific hardware is required so this is not a surprise for future customers.

This mount plate is priced higher than some of the competitors but I think it's worth it. I have the polycarbonate shield and the magnetic mounts. It fits really well on our Ford Transit high roof. The magnets are really strong and I have zero concern that it will come off the van unless I take it off. The handle is nice. I can climb up, disconnect the cable, grab the starlink and bring it down to put on my tripod. This thing is great.
So easy to install, and best part is that it is not noticable at all, and fits perfectly into the roof rack. Can't see why you would any other one.
